Daria Fontaine Pasquali (they/them) is an installation based artist working and living in Tiohti:áke/Montreal. Their mediums focus in industrial art making were craft and fine arts are not separate from one another. The work is deeply driven by research and exploration with a playful touch on bringing together different materials and multiple resources. Daria invites us into a discussion about gender, love, visual culture, power and transformation. They have shown their work mostly in their natal city, Tiohti:áke/Montreal, in notable institution such as the Livart, the Fofa Gallery, Ada X and Les atelier Belleville. They recently participate in a group show titled 2X2X2 at Cooper Union in New York City. Through their undergraduate at Concordia University, they have received multiple grants such as the personal grant and community grant from the Fine Art Student Alliance. As well as the special project funding from Concordia council on student life. Daria completed their Undergraduate in a major in Sculpture with great distinction at Concordia University in spring 2024.
